Kinetic and thermodynamic improvement of hydrogen storage materials such as metal hydrides doped by well defined transtion metal complexes is support by a 4 years national grant (ANR PRC 2015-2019). This project is a collaboration between 4 research groups (IRCE-Lyon-,  Institut Charles Gerhardt-Montpellier-;  Institut Laue Langevin-Grenoble-, Laboatoire chimie de Coordination-Toulouse-)

A project combining post-functionalized Metal Organic Framework (MOF) and transition metal complexes has been initiated with Dr Jianwei Ren at HySA Infrastructure in South Africa. This project is to find a new material able to store and release dihydrogen at temperatures close to room temperature.
